NAB builds structured property team

(20 July 2005 – Australia) National Australia Bank has strengthened its Structured Property Finance team with two new appointments. Hamish Roth has joined the bank from AMP Capital Investors as director responsible for origination, structuring and execution of property finance transactions.

Roth has 17 years experience in property and financial markets and also worked at Jones Lang LaSalle where he was responsible for valuations of Sydney CBD landmarks Darling Park, Grosvenor Place and the Colonial Centre among others.

The other appointment is Christian Korkor who has joined NAB from Macquarie Goodman where he worked in property funds management and property finance. He also worked at Gresham Winchester.

Both men will be based in Sydney and will report to NAB head of Structured Property Finance, Arthur Psaltis.

Psaltis said the new appointees’ knowledge of the property markets and industry contacts were an important step towards the bank having more success in a segment that offered increasing opportunities.
