NAB Europe chief quits

(Australia) - National Australia Bank's European chief, Steve Targett, has resigned to join Britain's Lloyds TSB bank. Mr. Targett, who was considered a possible successor to NAB chief Frank Cicutto, was appointed last year to head the bank's European operations, which include Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, Northern Bank in Belfast and Dublin's National Irish Bank.

Meanwhile, the NAB has reportedly held discussions with UK regulators on moving to a dual listed structure and listing its shares in London.
