NAB rounds up big four in Asia presence

NAB rounds up big four in Asia presence

(29 June 2011 – Australia) National Australia Bank (NAB) received approval from China’s Banking Regulatory Commission to open its first branch. The move means all of Australia's big four banks will have a branch presence in China. Banks are increasing their presence in Asia to capitalise on the region's economic growth and trade links with Australia.

NAB plans to open the branch in Shanghai this year to support business, corporate and institutional customers operating in China.
