NAB strengthens broker channel
(9 March 2010 – Australia) National Australia Bank has highlighted its commitment to the third party distribution channel by bolstering its broker support team.
Yesterday, NAB Broker appointed Michael Trencher to the newly created position national manager partnerships.
Mr Trencher joins the team with over 25 years experience in the finance industry working in corporate, retail and mortgage lending.
His most recent roles have focused on mortgage lending, specialising in both third party franchise and aggregator broker models at a national level.
Prior to this Mr Trencher held national sales and relationship roles with Mortgage Choice, ANZ and operated a Mortgage Choice franchise in Adelaide.
Speaking about Mr Trencher’s appointment, NAB Broker Distribution general manager John Flavell said Mr Trencher would bring a unique insight into the broker market which will complement and add value to the NAB Broker Distribution team.
"This is a new role on my leadership team that will focus on building a deeper understanding of our key business partners in order to meet their needs and deliver optimum business outcomes," he said.
