NAB UK Xchanges business processing model

NAB UK Xchanges business processing model

(4 July 2006 – UK) National Australia Bank’s UK business has outsourced the management of indirect spend and transactional procurement processing to business processing services outfit Xchanging. Xchanging will manage all of Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank’s indirect spending transactions, which includes marketing, ATMs, travel, recruitment, and some IT spending.

The company will also manage Clydesdale and Yorkshire’s transactional procurement activities. These include order raising and invoice processing, which will be processed and managed by Xchanging.

NAB said the decision to outsource this function was part of a "simplification strategy", freeing up the bank to focus on its core business.
