New boss at BNP Paribas’ local Custody Services division

(20 January 2004 – Australia) BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed Peter Snodgrass as head of the bank’s Custody Services division in Australia. Snodgrass has been given the task of growing the French bank’s Custody Services profile in Australia and New Zealand.

He joins BNP Paribas after two and a half years with Commonwealth Custodial Services. Before that, he spent 20 years at Westpac where he held senior management and operations roles in the bank’s Custodian Nominees and Financial Services divisions.

Snodgrass will report to BNP Paribas’ head of operations for Securities Services, Greg Nichols.

BNP Paribas currently has A$3.5 trillion under custody globally. Its Australian Custody Services division was launched in June 2003.
