New executive appointments at ANZ

New executive appointments at ANZ

(21 September 2012 – Australia) ANZ has announced three senior appointments reporting directly to chief executive Philip Chronican. Matthew Boss has been appointed managing director Products & Marketing. Boss joins ANZ from Bank of America based in North Carolina where he has held senior retail banking roles across finance, product management and consumer segments. He will commence with ANZ at the end of October 2012.

Glenn Haslam has been appointed general manager Transformation. In this new role Haslam will be responsible for bringing together Australia’s transformation priorities to simplify its business, drive productivity improvements and make it easier for customers to bank with ANZ. He is currently acting managing director, Product & Marketing.

Jeremy Dean has been appointed general manager Australia Operations. Dean is currently general manager Business Execution for Corporate and Commercial Australia having joined ANZ three years ago.

Chronican said the appointments strengthen the bank’s Australian leadership team and provide focus on ANZ’s plans to reshape the way it meets the changing needs of consumer and business customers.
