New head of payments and cash management at HSBC

(13 November 2006 – Australia) Wendy Booth has been appointed head of global payments and cash management for HSBC Australia, responsible for product development and management, business development and client delivery (implementation and ongoing customer service). Booth was previously HSBC’s head of sales for payments and cash management in Australia, managing the domestic and regional cash management needs of the corporate, commercial and institutional customer base.

Booth has replaced David Katiforis who has taken up a new pan-Asian role as head of payments and cash management for HSBC, based in Singapore.

Booth joined HSBC in 2005 from National Australia Bank where she was regional director of client management and business development for financial institutions in transactional solutions. She was also an associate director of business development, transactional solutions.

Before joining NAB, Booth was vice president of business development for treasury services at JPMorgan Chase. She also held roles at BNP Paribas and ANZ.
