SGB wins world title

(12 December 2008 – Global) St George has been awarded the gold medal at the Customer Contact Centre World Awards. St George was voted as having the worlds best Customer Contact Centre’s (CCC) at a recent presentation in Las Vegas.

What St George has described as a journey of recognition began in 2006 with Australian CCC awards, followed by the Asia Pacific finals in June 2008 after which the bank went on to represent the Asia Pacific at the World Awards.

St George Bank chief executive, Greg Bartlett, said that the bank’s Customer Contact Centre, led by Antoine Casgrain, has used a unique, personalised approach to set a new standard in customer service excellence within Australia.

To be eligible to win the award, St George general manager Contact Centres, Antoine Casgrain, was required to deliver a 15 minute presentation to judges from all over the world on the inner workings of the CCC.

Antoine highlighted St George’s tailored approach and highly personalised service experience as key factors that make St George’s CCC such a success and able to deliver the highest level of customer service.
