Westpac to reopen in London
(8 March 2010 – UK) Westpac has announced plans to reopen a cashless branch of its operations in the heart of London in early 2011.
Westpac is opening the new branch in an effort to help expat Australian and New Zealand customers manage their finances, as well as assist customers, who are planning to move down under, by pre-opening accounts.
Westpac's migrant and expatriate banking UK senior manager, Anthony Davison, said a new retail branch would open in early 2011 in the heart of London's financial district.
The reopening of a Westpac retail banking branch in London is an important first step in providing better support and service to Australians and New Zealanders in the UK and also those aspiring to live in Australia or New Zealand, Mr Davison added.
