ABN, CBA go digital

ABN, CBA go digital

(13th January 2004 – Australia) Commonwealth Bank and ABN Amro have underwritten a A$550 million bank facility to fund television provider FOXTEL’s digital conversion and new digital services in 2004. The banks will syndicate the loan with the money going towards the launch of FOXTEL’s new digital interactive cable and satellite services.

Both banks said they were excited to be involved in the digital future of subscription television in Australia.
