ANZ strengthens team in North Asia

(25 August 2006 – Hong Kong) ANZ Investment Bank has appointed Steven Lu as director, Project and Structured Finance in Hong Kong. Lu will report to Vikas Batra, head of Project and Structured Finance, Asia, and focus on the North Asia region (excluding Japan).

Lu joins ANZ from Macquarie Bank where he spent five years in the Hong Kong office working on principal transactions in the transportation and energy sectors.

He advised on the Beijing National Stadium project during its tender for an international investor.

Before this he was vice president and head of the Energy & Transportation team at Commerzbank Hong Kong. Lu also worked at HSBC Investment Bank’s Project & Export Finance Department in Hong Kong.
