Apple Pay functionality released by NAB

Apple Pay functionality released by NAB

(22 May 2019 - Australia) Apple Pay has now been introduced to NAB customers in response to strong customer demand for the service following its launch by ANZ and more recently CBA.

Retail ANZ customers have had access to Apple Pay since 2016 and can withdraw funds from ATMs using the service while CBA launched the service in Q1 2019.

Apple Pay allows NAB customers to transact using their iPhone or Apple device and is available for NAB personal and business customers. The Bank is contacting eligible customers directly to inform them about the new functionaility.

NAB Chief Customer Experience Officer Rachel Slade said the Bank has been listening to customers who wanted the service and were proud to finally launch it. "We’re continuing to listen to customer feedback and take action to become the bank our customers want. As part of our transformation we are investing significantly in our technology and digital services to support our customers to manage their money how they choose."
