Bendigo appoints advisers

(26 March 2007 – Australia) Bendigo Bank has appointed Goldman Sachs JB Were, Grant Samuel and Allens Arthur Robinson as advisers on the Bank of Queensland merger proposal. Bendigo is holding a two day meeting with the board and senior executives in the Victorian town of Queenscliff.

Bendigo said the session would include the process by which it would evaluate the proposal.

The bank said it would appoint further advisers if the need arises.
