Commonwealth Bank has renewed its arrangement with Telecom New Zealand for the supply of voice and contact centre services for another three years with the option to continue the arrangement for another 27 months when this contract terminates in August 2008.

This contract follows on the heels of a data services agreements signed by the two parties in December 2004.

CBA owns New Zealand’s ASB Bank.

In further news, ANZ has signed a deal with Norway’s Fast Search and Transfer in order to add real time search technology to both its intranet and customer facing web sites.
