(11 May 2004 – Australia) Commonwealth Bank of Australia has strengthened its Institutional Banking division by appointing Ian Saines as executive general manager of Institutional & Business Services. Saines joins from Zurich Capital Markets Asia, which he co-founded in 2001 and where he was managing director. He previously worked at BT Australia, where he held the roles of executive vice president and co-head of the Global Metals and Mining Industry Group.
