CBA pinches UBS executive director

(8 June 2010 – Australia) Tricia Ho, an executive director at UBS, has been lured to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia to head up the bank’s capital and regulatory strategy. Ms Ho will be responsible for the bank’s numerous subsidiaries regulatory issues, as well as being responsible for the group’s capital strategy and providing clients with capital advice.

CBA’s newest addition has spent time at GE, BNP Paribas and Freehills before spending seven years with the investment bank UBS.

The Commonwealth Bank told The Australian newspaper that Ms Ho has 15 years experience in capital markets, structured and project finance and general M&A and has also advised the office of the Federal Treasurer on general impacts on the financial sector.
