Joiner moves to new role at NAB

(10 April 2007 – Australia) National Australia Bank has appointed Mark Joiner to the new role of group executive general manager for Development and New Business. He will report directly to NAB group chief executive John Stewart as part of the bank’s group executive committee. Group development and group strategic investments will report to Joiner.

Joiner joined NAB last year from Citigroup as EGM Office of the Chief Executive Officer for Australia. At Citigroup he was chief financial officer and head of strategy and mergers for the bank’s global wealth management business.

Stewart said Joiner would build on the work started by the previous EGM for Group Development Cameron Clyne who is now CEO for Bank of New Zealand.

"Mark has experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities," he said.
