Rabo joins Australia Post on business banking
(6 December 2007 – Australia) Agri and food specialist lender Rabobank has teamed up with Australia Post to provide the bank’s clients with access to business banking services through Australia Post outlets.
The business banking service allows Rabobank clients to undertake a range of transactions such as cheque or cash deposits, cash withdrawals and account balances.
To use the services, clients must be holders of a Rabobank Visa Debit card.
Rabobank general manager Rural Australia, Peter Knoblanche, said the partnership increased access to Rabobank’s transactional services throughout rural Australia.
He said the partnership with Australia Post gives Rabobank clients the convenience and flexibility to conduct their business banking transactions at Australia Post outlets.
Knoblanche said the service, called Bank@Post was useful for clients who did not wish to make deposits by mail or use internet banking.
Australia Post group manager of Financial Services, Terry Stephens, said Australia Post offered a wide range of financial services through its extensive retail network.
