Rabobank takes financial planning services West
(25 July 2007 – Australia) Rabobank has extended its financial planning arm into Western Australia.
The food and agribusiness focussed bank said its Rabo Financial Advisors (RFA) business would expand outside New South Wales for the first time to meet the growing demand for specialist financial planning services in regional and metropolitan Western Australia.
Rabobank state manager for Rural WA Crawford Taylor said there was a strong off-farm investment culture in WA as farmers tapped into the buoyant WA economy and changes to superannuation rules.
He said farmers in the state recognised the importance of diversifying their investments, managing risk and planning for the future.
The Perth based RFA business will work alongside the bank’s existing banking operation.
Rabobank said it was the leading agribusiness lender in WA.
