Sophisticated ATMs to be released in UK

(14 March 2007 – UK) UK customers will soon be able to use their ATM to download music and games, top up their mobile phones and even print photos. UK independent service operator Bank Machine has inked a deal to distribute what’s known as The Max Box, a broadband enabled retail kiosk developed by listed UK company Felix Group.

British consumers will find the kiosks located at offsite locations such as garage forecourts, retail outlets and shopping centres, and pay a fee for non cash related services.
