StanChart reinforces transaction banking team with new hires

 (19 May 2016 – United Kingdom) Standard Chartered (StanChart) has appointed two senior executives to bolter its transaction banking ranks, it has announced.

The UK based bank named Francesco Miccoli as head of financial institutions (FI) and Owen Davies as head of implementation and client management, transaction banking Europe.

Miccoli was assumed the CEO role of the bank’s Italian operations in 2011, which he will continue, His additional responsibilities will also see him managing the transaction banking needs of the bank’s European FI clients.

Davies joined Standard Chartered’s transaction banking team last year, working within implementation and client management. His prior experience includes a 17 year tenure with Citi’s treasury and trade solutions, holding roles in operations, sales and implementation. Davie remit includes responsibility for the European client management strategy and he will also be a key member of the global management team driving the transformation agenda for the bank’s clients.

Miccoli and Davies will both report to Richard Jaggard, head of transaction banking Europe.
