Suncorp adopts new Oracle system

Suncorp adopts new Oracle system

(2 June 2011 – Australia) Suncorp Bank CEO David Foster has said the banks plan to invest A$9 million in a new customer relationship management system powered by Oracle will now be done in phases. The spend will put the bank in good stead as it seeks to claw some market share, especially in home loans, from the major players.

'Upgrading this CRM technology will provide the bank with a solid foundation to replace legacy systems through phase two and three of the program,' Suncorp Bank CEO David Foster said.

'The capitalised and stage expenditure over three years represents an investment in the growth of our bank.'

According to Mr Foster the new CRM system will increase efficiency as the new CRM environment would operate in a consolidated fashion.

Suncorp Group is putting the finishing touches to an ambitious program that will enable 20,000 employees to bring their own devices to work and access the corporate network.
