Treasury execs leave CBA

(15 August 2007 – Australia) Commonwealth Bank has announced that two of its senior Treasury executives are leaving the bank following a restructure. Executive general manager of Global Markets and Treasury, Martin Touw, and general manager of Products and Trading, Global Markets and Treasury, Vincent Hua, are leaving CBA.

The bank has divided responsibility for its Treasury and Global Markets functions with Lyn Cobley heading up Treasury and Ian Saines taking over Global Markets.

Cobley is currently executive general manager of Balance Sheet Management and Saines is executive general manager of the strong performing Institutional division.

CBA group executive of Premium Business Services, Stuart Grimshaw, said Touw and Hua’s departures were not related to press speculation about trading losses.
